Gil Anthony Guidry Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for Gil Anthony Guidry , 68, who passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 7:00 am until 10:00 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday. Rev. Garrett Savoie will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Scriptures will be read by Charee Theriot and Penni Guidry. Gift Bearers will be Rae and Jason Guidry. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson. Gil enjoyed going for a joy ride in his truck, hunting, cooking, and playing with his dog, Callie. He was an avid Saints, Yankees and LSU fan. He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Latiolais and her husband, Tyler; his sister, Dianna Hebert and her husband, Francis of Henderson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ann Guidry, father, Anthony Guidry, mother, Etta Guidry, sister, Catherine "Kitty" LeBlanc and his nephew, Tyler Hebert. Pall Bearers will be Dutz LeBlanc, Selleck LeBlanc, Link Hebert, Lonnie Latiolais, Leroy Guidry and Pearly Dupuis. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Drew Guidry, Kerwin Theriot, Francis Hebert, Gary LeBlanc, Wiley Latiolais and William Ray.
