Gil Anthony Guidry Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 2, 2017, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson for Gil Anthony Guidry , 68, who passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at his residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 7:00 am until 10:00 am. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Friday. Rev. Garrett Savoie will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Gil enjoyed going for a joy ride in his truck, hunting, cooking, and playing with his dog, Callie. He was an avid Saints, Yankees and LSU fan. He is survived by his daughter, Kayla Latiolais and her husband, Tyler and sister, Dianna Hebert of Henderson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Ann Guidry, father, Anthony Guidry, mother, Etta Guidry, sister, Catherine "Kitty" LeBlanc and his nephew, Tyler Hebert.
