Gladys Bourgeois

Funeral services will be at 5:00 PM ;on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Gladys Renard Bourgeois, 78, who passed away peacefully ;at 11:14 am on Monday ;at a Lafayette hospital surrounded by her husband of 58 years, her eight children, three daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law and several of her grandchildren. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from ;8:30 AM ;until time of services at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A native of Delcambre, Mrs. Bourgeois was born on October 3, 1934 and was a lifelong resident of Iberia Parish. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memory and in God's care her husband, Perry Bourgeois Sr., ;her children, ;Perry Jr. and his wife Carla of Erath, ;David and his wife Jody of Youngsville, ;Sandra Campbell and her husband Manuel of Youngsville, ; ;William and his wife Charlie, of Jacksonville, Florida, ;Kenneth and his wife Katherine of Erath, ;Beth Renard and her husband ;David of Delcambre, ;Jill Starks and her husband Ben of New Iberia and ;Naomi Holton and her husband Justin of Brandon, ;Florida; fifteen grandchildren plus one due in January and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hypolite "Buck" and Bertha Renard, her ;brothers Leewood and Raywood "Kenny", her ;sisters Mable Babineaux and Anna Mae Broussard; and her ;infant son Chad Jude.
