Gladys Breaux

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Gladys Breaux, 96, who died Sunday, January 28, 2007 in Breaux Bridge. Entombment will follow in St. Bernard No. 2 Mausoleum, in Breaux Bridge. Rev. Allen Breaux will be the Celebrant. Miss. Breaux enjoyed cooking and was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. Survivors include her nephews, John Allen Breaux of False River, Donald Breaux of Baton Rouge, Rev. Allen Breaux of Breaux Bridge, Dickie Breaux of Breaux Bridge; and her niece, Joyce B. Letterman of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lionel and Anna Guidry Breaux; her brothers, George Breaux, Wade Breaux, and Dudley "Tenoo" Breaux; and her nephews, James "Canook" Breaux, Leon Breaux, Lee Breaux, and Bucky Breaux. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Monday. Visitation will continue Tuesday from 8:00 AM until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
