Her hobbies included cooking, fishing, sewing, gardening, and shopping. ;Survivors include her husband, Monroe Rufus Darby, Jr. of New Iberia; sons, Ervin Lee Ritter and wife Catherine Stark Ritter of Lafayette, William Howard Ritter of Loreauville, Andrew Wayne Darby and wife Sandra of Baytown, Texas, Michael Monroe Darby of New Iberia; daughters, Susan Ritter Bibaeff and husband John Bibaeff, Jr. of Lafayette, Kathleen Ritter Temple and husband Robert Temple of Katy, Texas; brother, Wilbur Heyne of Belton, Texas; sister, Dorothy Jester of Baytown, Texas; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. ;She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Louise Heyne; granddaughter, Devinne Darby; brothers, Frank Heyne, and Jessie Heyne. ;Memorial contributions may be made to the family. ;Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560, 337.365.3331, is in charge of arrangements. ;
