Gladys Pellerin Grow

New Iberia - Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 20, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Gladys Pellerin Grow, 84, who passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015, in New Iberia. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Thursday. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Rev. Eugene Tremie will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Grow was born on June 25, 1930 to Edmond and Felecione Pellerin. She was a housewife and mother who loved taking care of her family. Mrs. Grow loved visiting her sisters, her family and friends. She enjoyed going to the casino, and to family reunions. She is survived by her sons, Patrick Grow and wife Barbara, Dennis Grow, Kelly Grow and wife Margaret, Eric Grow and wife Jaylene,: sisters, Bertha Delcambre, Sue Badeaux; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ludwig Paul Grow; father, Edmond Pellerin, mother, Felecione Pellerin, son, Tracy Carl Grow, daughter, Tina Marie Grow, daughter-in-law, Faye Romero Grow, sister, Florence Barras, brother, Wilton "T-Boy" Pellerin, brother, Willis Pellerin. Pallbearers will be Patrick Grow, Eric Grow, Dennis Grow, Kelly Grow, Kirk Pellerin, and Nolan Pellerin. Honorary pallbearers include Wayne Louviere, Todd Grow, Slade Grow, Brian Grow, Troy Grow, Joseph Roseberry, Blake Acosta, and Mateo Acosta. The family would like to give special thanks to Southern Care Hospice, especially Linda and Mary, Chaplain Ben, Father Tremie, Geraldine Menard and Dwayne, Lynne Crochet, Brenda DeRouen, Professional Home Health, Dr. Kenneth Ritter, and all family and friends.
