Gladys L. Theriot

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 3:30pm, Monday, Nov. 7, ?2005, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Gladys L. Theriot, 89, who died Saturday, Nov.5 , 2005 at Dautrive Hospital in New Iberia. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Broussard. Fr. Austin Leger, pastor of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church will conduct the services. Mrs. Theriot was a faithful servant of the Lord and a very devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with family, cooking, and she also loved playing games. Survivors include (5) sons Richard Theriot and wifeTootie of St. Martinville, ?Mitch Theriot and wife Sadie of St. Martinville, Herman Theriot and wife Jackie of Erath, Michael Theriot of St. Martinville,and Robert ?Bob? Theriot and wife Lynda of Broussard . (11) Daughters, Sister Maura Theriot of Houston, TX, Rachel Richard and husband Arthur Ray of Nederland, TX, ?Irene Delcambre ?, Velma Bienvenu and husband Pete , Beverly Judice and husband Poop , Debbie Melancon, Liz Blanchard and husband Donald, Julie Ducrest and husband Mark and Cindy Castellano and husband Rudy all of St. Martinville and Marian Judice and husband Coston of Broussard. A brother, Nuges Landry of St. Martinville.She is also survived by 42 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Theriot, her parents Perrin and Maggie Folse Landry . A brother, Jeffery Landry ,2 grandchildren, T-Mitch Theriot and Renee Bienvenu and a great grandchild, Christie Michelle Delcambre. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10am ? 10pm on Sunday and continue at 7 AM until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7pm on Sunday. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Theriots 5 sons Richard , Mitch, Herman, Michael, and Robert Theriot and also Jeffery Melancon.
