Gladys B. Thibodeaux

Breaux Bridge - A memorial service will be held at a later date for Gladys Babineaux Thibodeaux, 87, who died Friday, June 24, 2005 at her residence in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Thibodeaux loved being outdoors, working in her yard and tending to her garden. She and her husband, provided many of the residents in the Breaux Bridge community with fresh vegetables for many years. Survivors include her son, Lee Roy Thibodeaux of Breaux Bridge; her daughter, Nelma T. Sides, and her husband, Robert of Monroe; her sister, Amy Babineaux; and three grandchildren, Charles "Chuck" Sides, Wesley Lee Thibodeaux and Lesley Roy Thibodeaux. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester A. Thibodeaux; her parents, Alcee J. and Marie Azelia Betancourt Babineaux; six brothers, Dudley, Dalton, Isaac, Francis, Joswell, and Jean Babineaux; and one sister, Volcie B. Dore. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
