Glen Joel Moody

Breaux Bridge, Louisiana- A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2022, for Glen Joel Moody, 74, who passed away on October 13, 2022 at his residence. 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home on Thursday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Pastor Rob Burdeaux will officiate the memorial service.  

Glen was born September 25, 1948 in Opelousas, LA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, painting, and wood carving. Using his talent with wood, he made many decoys and duck calls for family and friends. Glen will be remembered for his funny personality and the many corny jokes he told at family gatherings. He never met a stranger and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by daughters, Natalie (Teddy Pena) Moody, Lauren Moody, Alicia Moody and Jessica Moody; brother, Kent Moody; sister, Cheryl Alexander; grandchildren, Arianne Moody, Rule Guidry, Cecille Guidry and Dewey Guidry; special family friends, Hans and Tami Ward and their children, Hanson and Elizabeth Ward.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Gloria Sandoz Moody; and his brothers, Dennis Moody and Rusty Moody.
