Glenda Rebert Romero

Loreauville - Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Loreauville, LA, for Glenda Marie Rebert Romero, 52, who passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Deacon Chris Doumit will be the Celebrant. Glenda Marie Rebert Romero was born in Loreauville, LA on February 28, 1964 to Fay Pelous and Vernon Rebert, Sr. She was a 1983 graduate of Loreauville High School. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and daughter who loved children. She will be deeply missed. In addition to her parents, Glenda is survived by her loving husband, Glynn David Romero, Sr,; two daughters, Sara and Hannah Romero; two sons, Glynn Jr. and Solen Romero; three sisters, Cora Laviolette and husband Matthew, Sr., Stacie Stelly and husband Jody, and Amanda McCoy and husband Mark; a brother, Vernon Rebert, Jr.; maternal grandmother, Irene Pelous; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Emily Ann Romero, paternal grandparents, George and Cora Decuir Rebert, maternal grandfather, Arthur Pelous, and a nephew, Brett James Laviolette. Special thanks to Heart of Hospice, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, and Acadian Ambulance for such good care. In lieu of flowers, an account has been opened in memory of Glenda at Community First Bank in Loreauville.
