Lydia - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2006, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Lydia for Glenn Francis Landry, Jr., 33, who died on Saturday, November 11, 2006. Interment will be in Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia. Glenn served in the Air National Guard. ?He loved fishing, boating and boxing. ?His first and forever love was his wife, Melissa, and becoming a Dad; they are expecting their first child in April 2007. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Bouy Landry of New Iberia; his parents, Glenn, Sr. and Becky Dupre Landry of Franklin; his sister, Jennifer Landry of New Iberia;his maternal grandmother, Marie Dupre of Franklin; and his mother-in-law, Lucille Bouy of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Merlin Dupre; his paternal grandparents, Dorothy and Milton Landry, Sr.; and his father-in-law, Emile ""Bobbee"" Bouy, Jr. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. ~ 9:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pallbearers will be John Broussard, Ryan Privat, Dale Landry, Wayne Dupre, Jr., Thomas Dupre, Keith Bouy, and Charles Landry, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home of New Iberia is in charge of arrangements.
