Breaux Bridge - A committal Service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, April 4, 2025 at St. Bernard Cemetery #1 for Glenn J. Rabalais, 74, who passed away on March 31, 2025 at St. Agnes Nursing Home.

Father Reed Bellingham will officiate the memorial service. 

Glenn lived a life enriched by his vibrant spirit and dedication to those around him.

Glenn was known for his strong personality and unwavering punctuality, traits that endeared him to many. His connection with the Arc of Lafayette allowed him to contribute meaningfully by assembling utensils for various events, a task he approached with sincerity and dedication. He found joy in simple pleasures-watching television, calling bingo games, and cherishing family gatherings, where his love for the color red often shone through in his attire and enthusiasm.

Glenn was particularly fond of the special bond he shared with his CNA, Tamika, whom he affectionately called his "sugar momma." His remarkable memory for phone numbers and birthdays showed just how much he cared for the people in his life.

As we remember Glenn, let us celebrate his headstrong nature, his passion for life, and the love he shared with those around him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts.

He is survived by his sister, Patricia (Ted) Johnson; brother, Gary Rabalais; niece, Caroline Rabalais; nephews, Caleb Rabalais, Adam Johnson, Jonathan Johnson, and Cy Johnson.

He is preceded in death by his father, Norris Rabalais; mother, Lucille Melancon; step-father, Percy "PJ" Melancon; and his sister-in-law, Marie Rabalais.
