Breaux Bridge - Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am, on Friday, October 19, 2012, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge, for Gloria Jean Guidry, 76, who passed away on Saturday, October 13, 2012 in Omaha, NE. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 2:30 pm until 9:30 pm on Thursday and continue at 9:30 am until 11:15 am on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday. Rev. Joe Campion will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reader will be Mike Fontenot. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Gloria enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, and caring for her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Randal Paul (Charlotte) Guidry of Omaha, NE, Michael Keith (Charlene) Guidry of Breaux Bridge, LA; her daughter, Deirdre Guidry LeBlanc (Dale) of Nashville TN; her sisters, Joann Gamache of Lafayette, and Yolanda LeBlanc (Paul), of Lafayette; her 12 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, RB Strother, mother; Anita Strother; husband, Orvy J. Guidry; grandson, Brady Keith Guidry; sister, Delores Marie Moss; and daughter-in-law, Amanda Daigle Guidry. Pallbearers will be Christopher Arnaud, Kyle Arnaud, Jason Guidry, Randal Guidry, Michael Guidry, and Dale LeBlanc.
