VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Cecilia- Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m., on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Grace Lee Dartez Patt, 73, who passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Father Michael Delcambre will officiate at the funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Kaylia Dartez and Rachel Dugas. Gift Bearers will be Damon Patt, Trenton Dartez, and Monique Patt. Grace loved good old fashioned Creole and Cajun cuisine. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, going on trail rides, and spending time outdoors. Grace treasured and looked forward to the many times she spent with her family and friends. Her house was always full of visitors - she treated everyday just as though it was a holiday. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Survivors include two sons, Daniel Patt and wife, Linda, and Gerald Patt, all of Cecilia; three daughters, Shirley Wiltz and husband, Clarence, of Breaux Bridge, Janella Patt, and Candie Dartez, all of Cecilia; one brother, Harold Dartez, of Houston, TX; four sisters, Theresa Charles and husband, Zervin, Hazel Cormier and husband, Wilbert, all of Houston, TX, Geneva Dartez, and Stella Dartez, both of Cecilia; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clement and Amanda Journet Dartez; four brothers, Herman, Roger, and Linton Dartez, and Murphy Ledet; and two sisters, Hilda LeBlanc and Barbara Dartez. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Saturday. Pallbearers will be Jamacian Dartez, Kenneth Dartez, Joseph Wiltz, Wilson LeBlanc, Daniel Zenon, Kendall Dartez, James Patt, and Willie Dartez. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
