Harold Duplantis

New Iberia - A Memorial Service will be held at 10 :00 a.m. , on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 , at Faith Cathedral - World Outreach Center in New Iberia , for Harold Armand Duplantis, Jr., 76, who passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at his residence. Bishop Drew Rousse and Sr. Pastor Wanda Rousse will conduct the service. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Belaire Duplantis, of St. Martinville; two sons, Harold 'Sonny' Duplantis, III and Matthew M. Duplantis, both of St. Martinville; three step daughters, Judy Landry, of New Iberia, Sharlene Mackenzie of Los Angeles, CA, and Debbra Hutchinson, of Victoria, TX; five brothers, Warren Duplantis, Nolan Duplantis, and Larry Duplantis, all of St. Martinville, Jerry Lee Duplantis, of Baton Rouge, and Carroll Duplantis, of St. Martinville; four sisters, Janet Buford, Helen K. Boutte, and Vickie Hollieman, all of New Iberia, and Aileen Broussard, of St. Martinville; 10 step grandchildren and several step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Duplantis, Sr. and Helen Rist Duplantis. Pellerin Funeral Home, (337.332.2111), is in charge of arrangements.
