Harold Joseph Kennison

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 9, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Harold Joseph Kennison, 67, who died Tuesday, June 7, 2005 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Mr. Kennison served on the Board of Directors and the executive committee with Farmers-Merchants Bank, on the Board of Directors with Slemco, and on the Board of Directors and as treasurer with Louisiana Rural Electric Association. He was also an usher at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Adelle Dupuis Kennison; one son, Harold Neal Kennison and his wife Michelle; two daughters, Lesley Thibodeaux and her husband Mike, Jamie Cormier and her husband Patrick all of Cecilia; three brothers Alex and Earl Kennison of Arnaudville and Carrol Kennison of Houston, TX, also his grandchildren, Austin Kennison, Lacey, Rylan, and Raven Thibodeaux, and Shelby Cormier. He was preceded in death by his parents Alphe and Euphemin Legrange Kennison and two brothers, Jules and Louis Kennison. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 8, 2005 and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Wednesday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
