Breaux Bridge A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, November 25, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Harold Joseph Laviolette, 72, who passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at 7:10 am at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 9:30 am until 1:45 pm on Tuesday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. A eulogy will be presented by his granddaughter, Nicole Laviolette. Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Mausoleum No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Harold was a native of Cecilia, Louisiana, former resident of Metairie, and a current resident of Breaux Bridge. He was a former jockey and horse trainer. He is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie Laviolette; his ex-wife, Patricia Mills; his children, Barbara Talley, Lennon Laviolette, Patrick Laviolette, Shane Laviolette, and Wayne Talley; his grandchildren, Easton Laviolette, Eyrelin Laviolette, Jonathan Talley, Nicole Laviolette, and Sara Talley; his sisters, Cynthia Bertrand, Geraldine Trahan, Jo Ann LeBlanc, Loretta Ducharme, Mildred Bourque, Grace Bourque, and Shirley Guidry; and his brother, Melvin Laviolette. He is preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Enola Dore Laviolette; his twin brother, Harris Laviolette; his brother, Charles Laviolette; and his sister, Noelie Laviolette. Pallbearers will be Allen Bourque, Jonathan Talley, Patrick Laviolette, Sean McRaney, Shane Laviolette, and Wayne Talley.
