New Iberia - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Harold Anthony Myers, 56, who passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016, New Iberia. Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery, in Franklin. Chaplain Francis Fontenot will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM. A native of Franklin and a resident of New Iberia, Harold was born on November 7, 1959 to William Myers, Sr., and Anna Louise Theriot. He worked as a mechanic in the oilfield, and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his sister, Angela Daigle and husband William of New Iberia; brother, Donald Myers and companion Kathryn Giroir of Morgan City; son, Brandon Landry and wife Candice of New Iberia; daughter, Jennifer Badeaux of New Iberia; companion, Donna Faye Landry of New Iberia; grandchild, Landon James Landry; godchildren, Michael Myers, Kristin Myers, Shantelle Myers; step son, Dustin Gary. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Myers, Jr.; sister, Laura Ann Myers; grandparents, Lydia Savoie, Alcide Savoie, Sidney Myers, and Lucille Myers.
