Henderson - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m., on Thursday July 18, 2013, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Harris Joseph Wiltz, 79, who passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday at 7 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., at Pellerin Funeral Home in Henderson. A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Fr. Allen Breaux will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Brittney Stelly and Cheryl Guidry. Gift Bearers will be Erika Guidry, Laney Wiltz, and Cherice Hayes. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Mr. Wiltz was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he also enjoyed playing Dominos. He cherished the times he could spend with his family and friends. He is survived by his son, Doyle Lee Wiltz and wife, Tonya Lynn Guidry Wiltz; his daughter, Donna Marie Robin and companion, Rickey Douet; his brother, Nolan Wiltz and his wife, Shirley; his sister, Genevieve Usie; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Jules Wiltz Sr.; his mother, Ament Marie Patin Wiltz; his beloved wife, Estelle Huval Wiltz; his daughter, Lila Hayes; sons-in-law, David Robin and Michael Hayes; his brothers, Emory, Jules, Jr., Shelton, and Gercie Wiltz; and his sister, Doris Guidry. Pallbearers will be Doyle Lee Wiltz, Rickey Douet, Stevie Allemond, Saxon Wyatt, David Duplechin, and Henry Gravouia. Honorary pallbearers will be Floyd Huval and Nicky Dauphine.
