Harry Lee Broussard

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2008, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Harry Lee Broussard, 45, who passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Rev. Keenan Brown, pastor of St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church, will conduct the services. Music will be provided by Robert Noel. Harry Lee will be greatly missed for his kindness and political insights; he never went anywhere without making a new friend. He was an avid sports fan. Survivors include his mother, Clara Borel Broussard of Arnaudville; his companion, Melissa Mouton of Vinton, Louisiana; his sons, Darrell Mouton, Bryson Mouton and Shannon Mouton all of Vinton, Louisiana; his daughters, Alexis Mouton and Desire Mouton both of Vinton, Louisiana; his brothers, Robert Bob Broussard and his wife, Stella of Breaux Bridge, Faris Broussard and his wife, Debbie of Lafayette and Patrick Broussard and his wife, Wanda of Pensacola, FL.; his sisters, Barbara Broussard Benjamin and her husband, Michael of St. Martinville, Delores Broussard Menard of Lafayette, Linda Broussard of Lafayette, Glenda Broussard and her companion, Jamar Dupas of Lafayette, Melissa Lisa Broussard of Arnaudville and Evelyn Broussard of Lafayette; two grandchildren, Jacoby Begnaud and Jale Begnaud; his godson, Chad Menard; and his widowed sisters-in-law, Esther Ardoin Broussard of Carencro and Cathy Young Broussard of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Broussard, Sr.; his grandson, Jalen Begnaud; his brothers, Michael Mike Broussard, Russell Yo-Yo Broussard and Clarence Kalu Broussard, Jr.; his sister, Mary L. Broussard; his nephew, Elliott Broussard; his paternal grandparents; Kramer and Mary Cluse Broussard; his maternal grandparents, Arveillian and Esther Areceneaux Borel. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2008. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
