New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 6, 2015, at St. Peter Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Harry G. Landry, Jr., 67, who passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015, in New Iberia A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Sunday. Visitation will continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM Rev. Nicholas DuPre' will be the Celebrant. Rachel Segura and Johnny Romero will proclaim the readings. Gift Bearers will be Mr. Landry's grandchildren. Entombment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in New Iberia. Although he was born an only child, God blessed Harry with many "brothers and sisters" through life's journey.He was an avid hunter, football and race horse fan. His interest was NOT gambling, but knowing the horse's bloodline, track record history, owner's, trainers, and jockeys.Harry was a humble man who helped family and friends unconditionally. He had no limits on quality time and making memories with his grandchildren, "brothers and sisters", and friends. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Landry of New Iberia;, son, Craig Landry and wife Dawn of New Iberia;, daughter, Dawn Alleman and husband Tony of New Iberia; grandchildren, Carley Landry, Kourtlyn Landry, Brodey Landry, and Emmi Alleman. He is preceded in death by his father, Harry G. Landry, Sr., and his mother, Mary Jane Delahoussaye Landry. Pallbearers will be Craig Landry, Brodey Landry, Tony Alleman, Raymond Duplantis, Kenneth Delahoussaye, and Eddie Delahoussaye. Honorary pallbearers will be Ceasar Paul Schaubert, Ralph Schaubert, James Simon, Stephan Viator.
