Hazel Marie Chambers

St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 1, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Hazel Marie Chambers, 78, who passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 am until 10:00 am on Monday. Interment will follow at House of Love Cemetery in St. Martinville. Hazel enjoyed cleaning, playing cards, cooking, baking, and eating her favorite, seafood. She will be remembered for her kindness, lovable care and concern for others, and her willingness to always help anyone in need. She is survived by her three brothers, John Alexander, Raymond Alexander and Clarence (Julia) Alexander Jr. all of St. Martinville; niece and caregiver, Rochanda Anthony of St. Martinville; and a host of other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence, Sr. and Lillie Mae Alexander; sister, Mazel Anthony; and three nieces, Roskanda Anthony, A'Johni Anthony, and Katelyn Bell.
