Hazel Tauzin Guidry

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville, for Hazel Tauzin Guidry, 87, who passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Doctor's Hospital in Opelousas. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Fr. Austin Leger will officiate at the funeral Mass. Survivors include two sons, Johnny Guidry and Gerald Guidry and his wife, Lillian, all of Arnaudville; one daughter, Betty Guidry, of Lake Charles; one sister, Lois Tauzin Henry, of Folsom, LA; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Selma Guidry, Sr.; her mother, Felicia Stoute Tauzin; her father, Johnnie Tauzin; her step mother, Lucy Guidry Tauzin; three sons, David Guidry, Ray Guidry, and Selma Guidry, Jr.; one brother, Loyvin Tauzin; and three sisters, Mildred Fisette, Bernice Roy, and Euzebe Guidroz. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Monday and continue at 8 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Monday. Pallbearers will be Robert Guidry, Brian Guidry, Jason Guidry, Glenn LaPorte, Herman Fisette, and Clay Hardy, Jr. Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
