Heather Charpentier

New Iberia – Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Pellerin Funeral Home, for Heather Charpentier, 31, who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.

Entombment will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery.

Deacon Josh LeBlanc will officiate.

Visitation will be Monday, from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home.

A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia, Heather was born on August 6, 1993. She cherished her job at Meche’s Donuts, in New Iberia, where her enthusiasm and delightful spirit made a lasting impression on both co-workers and patrons alike. 

Heather found immense joy outdoors, where she connected with nature in ways few could understand. Whether it was a leisurely walk under the trees or simply basking in the sun, she found peace and happiness in the beauty of the natural world. 

Survivors include her mother, Laura David Blanchard; father, Morris Charpentier, Jr. (Gwen); sons, Bryant Lorenzo Polk, Jr. and Malcolm Becnel; grandmother, Robbie Dale David; siblings, Alexis Louviere, Destani Curtis, Sabrina Gibson, Martina Gibson, Christopher Louviere, Jr., Malakai Charpentier, Brian Gibson, Michael Breaux, and Brett Peltier.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Clayton David, Morris Charpentier, Sr., and Juanita Flores; and a brother, Morris Charpentier, III.

Pallbearers will be Christopher Louviere, Jr., Christopher Louviere, Sr., Malakai Charpentier, Alexis Louviere, Seth Moreaux, Morris Charpentier, Jr., Leona Charpentier, Bryant Polk, Jr., and Malcolm Becnel.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
