New Iberia - Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Helen Bourque Worley, 84, who passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018, in Mineola, Texas following a brief illness. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia. Rev. Keith Landry will be the Officiant. A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home from 9:00 am until 10:30 am on Saturday. A longtime resident of New Iberia, Helen Bourque Worley was born on January 20, 1934 to the late Leonice and Edolia Romero Bourque. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be deeply missed. Mrs. Worley is survived by son, Ryan Worley and wife Brenda of Mineola, TX; daughter, Gwen Cope and husband Terry of Tioga, LA; sisters, Edith Dooley and Lucy Pete of New Iberia; grandchildren, Gabriel Worley and Bonnie Worley; and great grandchildren, Leighton and Lucas Worley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Worley; a sister, Judith Berard, brothers, Robert Bourque, Zoda Bourque, Westley Bourque, Reno Bourque, and Eno Bourque; and a granddaughter, Andrea.
