Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 12, 2007, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Breaux Bridge for Helene LaGrange Wright, 60, who died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at Mainland Medical Center in Texas City, TX. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery in Cecilia. Mrs. Wright attended Southern University State School for the Blind and the Louisiana Association for the Blind, where she also worked as a packaging assembly line worker. ?She lived in Shreveport, Breaux Bridge, Cecilia, New Orleans, and Texas City, TX. ?She was a member of the Central-Free Methodist Church in Shreveport and the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include her father, Leopaul LaGrange of Cecilia; her son, Timothy Lavell Wright and his wife, Zita Lee Wright of New Orleans; her brother, Andrew LaGrange of Cecilia; her sisters, Alicimae Espree of Cecilia, Dorothy James of Shreveport, Verler Gordon of Lafayette, Verline Broussard of Belle Chase, Redella Cousins of Zachary, Rose Floyd of Kenner, Mary Odeh of Breaux Bridge, and Barbara Offord of Cecilia; and three grandchildren, Timothy, Alex, and Lavell Wright. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elvina Noel LaGrange; her husband, Alex Wright; and her brother, Paul LaGrange. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. on Monday and continue until time of service. Pallbearers will be Hershey Baptiste, Melvin Broussard, Rev. David Cousins, Joseph Espree, Cedric Floyd, and John Patrick Offord, Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Gordon, Andrew LaGrange, Robert Wright, and Timothy Wright. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
