Arnaudville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at St. John Francis Regis Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Henry Dartez, Jr., 67, who passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:00 am until 10:30 am on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 am on Saturday. Rev. Travis Abadie will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Melissa Dartez and Patrice Ray Simpson. Gift Bearers will be Kennedy and Lauren Trahan, and Olivia Jones. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Henry was born November 14, 1950 in Arnaudville. He worked at Soloco as a supervisor for a few years, then worked at LyondellBasell Industries for 36 years. Henry enjoyed listening and dancing to Zydeco music, playing cards, and being with his family. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Marisa Dartez; step son, Ronald A. Charles; sisters, Lou Anna D. Guidry and husband Walter, and Genevieve D. Ray and husband Charles; and his grandchildren, Mia R. Mouton, Timothy J. Taplin, Jr., and Tyrin D. Dartez. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Louisiana Gabriel Dartez, Sr.; and his brothers, Andrew Dartez and Wilson Dartez. Pallbearers will be Iron Gordon, Bryan Dartez, Ronald Charles, Joseph S. Guidry, Sr., Jonathan Jones, and Mendell White. Honorary pallbearers will be Walter P. Guidry, Sr., Ernest Journet, Charles H.
