Henry "Tookie" Louis Maxwell

Breaux Bridge - A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Henry Louis Tookie" Maxwell, 80, who passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 am until 12:45 pm on Thursday, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge Mr. Maxwell enlisted in the United States Navy on June 30, 1952, attaining the rank of Boilerman 2nd Class, and was honorably discharged on February 16, 1956. During his enlistment period he served his country during Korean Conflict. He was employed by Foxboro for many years as a Plant Automation Services Technician. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara Jean Finch Maxwell of Lafayette; step sons, Roger Young and wife, Karen, of Youngsville, Richard Young and companion, Cara Douglas, of Las Vegas, NM, and Keith Young of Lafayette; step daughters, Felicia Young of Breaux Bridge, and Dianthia Grubbs and husband, Mark, of Dallas, TX; sister, Bonnie Romero of Iota; grandchildren, Sonja Young of Iota, Danielle and Ashley Young of Youngsville, Brendon Douglass of Breaux Bridge, Tiffany Grubbs of Dallas, TX, Angie Grubbs of Dallas, TX, Mark Allen Grubbs of Dallas, TX, James Douglas of Las Vegas, NM, Benjamin Douglas of Las Vegas, NM, Aubrey Douglas of Las Vegas, NM, Elizabeth Ashley Douglas of Las Vegas, NM, Laura Douglas of Las Vegas, NM, and Melody Young of Houston, TX; and great grandchildren, Tyler Tucker of Breaux Bridge, Gabriella Grubbs of Dallas, TX, Jasmine Grubbs of Dallas, TX, Skyla Tucker of Dallas, TX, Meagan Young of Iota, and Anthony Grubbs of Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Minter James Maxwell and Lorna Mary Mason Maxwell.
