Herbert "Bruce" Broussard

Cecilia - Graveside Services will be held at a later date for Herbert "Bruce" Broussard, 72, who passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at his residence.

Bruce had a true passion for cars. He loved restoring classic cars, racing cars, and working on muscle cars. Bruce also enjoyed watching horse racing, football, and basketball. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and taking trips to New Orleans, Houston, and Milwaukee to visit with loved ones out of town. Bruce was an amazing father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, who will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his sons, Lionel Ledet, Cornelius Martinez (Tanya), and Adam Broussard; daughter, Contessa Williams; nephew, Harold Sam; brothers, Harold Broussard and Peter Broussard; grandchildren, Dionne Amest, Showndre' Martinez, Darrien Martinez, Serenity Martinez, Asia Davis, Niobe Broussard and Aria Marks; and great-grandchildren, K'myini Amest, Ry Griffin, Kyzer Green, Drayce Anthony and Draya Anthony.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Preston Broussard and Lula Mae Celestine Broussard; and his brother, Henry Broussard.
