Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday, November 9, 2018, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Herbert J. Senigal, 60, who passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at The Carpenter House - St. Joseph Hospice. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Friday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:00 am on Friday. Rev. Ugochukwu Jerome Cletus, SSJ will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery in Breaux Bridge. Herbert enjoyed fishing, cooking, driving around town listening to his music, and visiting the Carmelite Monastery, where he brought petitions for those that needed prayers. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his children whom he loved unconditionally. He is survived by his daughters, Erica Harris and her partner Kendrea, of Lafayette, Joycelyn Bernard of Lafayette, and Kendra Martin of Lake Charles; sons, Jamar Bernard of Lafayette and Dominic Hypolite of Breaux Bridge; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, James Senigal and wife Christian of Lafayette and McKenzie Senigal and wife Lazette of Houston, TX; and his sister, Shirley Senigal of St. Martinville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Helen Johnson Senigal. Pallbearers will be Dominic Hypolite, Jamar Bernard, Javen Comeaux, James Senigal, McKenzie Senigal and Brian Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Eidyn Johnson, Damauri Hypolite, and Warren Martin.
