Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 6, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Herman Joseph Dejean, 37, who passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2007 in Baton Rouge.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Fr. Paul LaFleur, pastor of St. Bernard Church, will conduct the services.
Herman was a truck driver, who enjoyed his work. He loved working in the yard, and going boat and four-wheeler riding, but most of all, he loved being a Dad and husband.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Q. Dejean; one son, Brian K. Dejean; one daughter, Ravin M. Quebedeaux; his mother, Eva Mae Veronie; and two sisters, Donna and Marella, all of Breaux Bridge.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dejean; and a sister, Vicky Sue Angelle.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. on Friday and continue until time of service on Saturday.
A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday evening.
