Hilda Zimmerman Broussard

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Friday, August 24, 2007, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Hilda Zimmerman Broussard, 86, who died on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Donald Pousson will officiate at the funeral Mass. Survivors include two sons, Raymond Broussard and his wife, Christine, of Breaux Bridge, and Toby Broussard and his wife, Lisa, of Lafayette; three daughters, Wanda Castille and her husband, Dickie, of Breaux Bridge, Bonnie Eldridge and her husband, Barry, of Loreauville, and Alice Broussard, of Lafayette; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Elvige Hebert Zimmerman; her husband, John Ned Broussard; and 11 brothers and sisters. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Friday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
