Hilda Marie Derouen

New Iberia - Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, January 23, 2015, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Hilda Marie Derouen, 83, who passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2015, in New Iberia. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Rev. Aaron Weido will officiate. Entombment will follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Mrs. Derouen was born on May 19, 1931 to Albert and Rosemary Bourque Moreaux, and was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She had worked at the Holiday Inn for many years, and enjoyed gardening and playing bingo. She is survived by her children, Rosana Boutte of New Iberia, Francis "Boo" Boutte, Jr. and wife Della of Broussard, Lisa Hebert of New Iberia, and Timmy "Tee" Boutte and wife Pam of New Iberia; sisters, Evelyn Girard and husband Minos of New Iberia, and Rita Thibodeaux of New Iberia; grandchildren,, Monica Romero, Justin Boutte, Kristi Renee Robbins, Tony Boutte, Blake Boutte, Bekka Romero, and Adam Boutte; 9 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Adam Moreaux, Rene Moreaux, Ernest Moreaux, Robert Moreaux; and sisters, Hilda Mae Viator, Marie Broussard, Rosa Primeaux. Pallbearers will be Francis "Boo" Boutte, Jr., Timmy "Tee" Boutte, Adam Boutte, Tony Boutte, Justin Boutte, and Blake Boutte.
