Hilda 'Z' Johnson

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Hilda "Z" LeBlanc Johnson, 96, who passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Wednesday, and continue on Thursday at 11:00 am until 2:30 pm, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Fr. Richard Fabre will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. She is survived by her loving daughters, Linda Hanes of Carencro, LA, and Cynthia Benfatti and her husband Anthony of Slidell, LA; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her stepson, Wesley Hebert and his wife, Lou, and their children, Lisa, Neil, and Jody; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jules and Alosia Talley LeBlanc; husband, Wesley Johnson; son, Terry Johnson; daughter, Judy Johnson Bernard, brothers; Lawrence and Nick LeBlanc; and sisters, Shirley, Alice, Flo, Rena, Lou, and Pearly. Pallbearers will be Wesley Hebert, Timothy Hebert, Anthony Benfatti, Gregory Benfatti, Vincent Benfatti, and Dale Hewitt. Many thanks to the wonderful caregivers, Doris Melancon and Sara Lefleur, who devoted their valuable time and endless love to our mother.
