Hilda Rose Lee

St. Martinville - A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, on Saturday, January 16, 2016, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Saint Martinville, for Hilda Rose Lee, 71, who passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville from 7:00 am until the time of service on Saturday. A rosary will be prayed at 8:30 am on Saturday. Rev. Michael Sucharski will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Quentin Daniels and Akerria Lee. Gift Bearers will be Kylan Lee, Laithon Lee, and Shea ONeal Lee, Jr. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mrs. Lee was a parishioner of Notre Dame Catholic Church and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Court 54 St. Martinville. She was a graduate of Adam Carlson High School in 1964. She cherished moments spent with family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her hobbies included; playing bingo, going to the casino, and watching her favorite sport teams LSU and the New Orleans Saints. She is survived by her sons, George Anthony Lee of St. Martinville, Dewey Lee, Jr. (Stella) of Houston and Shea Lee, Sr. (Kim) of St. Martinville; daughters, Glendale Jones of Lithonia, GA, Rasheila Sneeze (Bernard) of Breaux Bridge and Tariwane Lee of St. Martinville; brothers, Lawrence Jones (Inga) of Germany, Larry Jones, Sr. (Deborah) of St. Martinville and Leary Jones of St. Martinville; sisters, Della Mae James of St. Martinville, Alphosine "Seen" Jones of Houston, Jo Ann Livingston of Houston, Patricia Jones of St. Martinville, Liza M. Chance (Andrew) of Clinton, Maryland and Susan A. Jones, MD of Lake Charles; 20 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Lee, Sr.; father, Lawrence Jones, Sr.; mother, Hilda Jones; sister, Gloria A. Jones; granddaughter, MaKayla Gregoire; great-granddaughter, Kinsley Lee; and nephew Pingus Jones. Pallbearers will be Ricky Beal, Corey Jones, Dominic Jones, Jonathan Jones, Jordan Lee, and Chaz Perrodin. Honorary pallbearers will be Terrance Adkins, Jarrell Chance, Gerald Jay Domingue, Hilton Gilliam, Robey Lee Jones, DeEdrick Livingston, Derrick Moten, Jonathan Smith, Bernard Sneeze, Aaron Tatum, DeMarcus Thomas, Eugene Thomas, III, and Scott Thomas.
