Hilda Robertson

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Hilda Wiltz Robertson, 97, who passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Notre Dame Catholic Church from 7:00 am until 10:45 am on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 am on Saturday. Scriptures will be read by Dora Bruno and Cynthia Victor. Gift Bearers will be Ludwina Journet, Racquel Porter, and Kateland Prade. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Mrs. Robertson was a lifelong parishioner of Notre Dame Catholic Church, a member of the Legion of Mary, and formed a Rosary group in her area many years ago. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her grandchildren. Hilda treasured the many times she spent with her family and friends, especially for her birthday and Christmas. She is survived by four sons, Nelton Robertson of Los Angeles, CA, Felix (Jozell) Robertson of Corona, CA, Raymond Robertson, and Clarence Robertson, both of St. Martinville; four daughters, Florence Robertson of Bellflower, CA, Judy (Henry) Broussard, Claudia (Terry) Prade of St. Martinville, and Madeline Robertson of Bellflower, CA; three sisters, Mary Hebert of Inglewood, CA, Sr. Innocente, and Philomena Andrews, both of Lafayette; 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Robertson; her parents, Gabriel and Felicia Dugas Wiltz; three brothers, Martin, Harold, and Jack Wiltz; three sisters, Anita James, Sister Theresa Wiltz, and Rita Ratliff; and two grandchildren, Keena Prade and Clarence Anthony Robertson. Pallbearers will be ONeal Robertson, Terry J. Prade, Nelton Robertson, Jr., Howard J. Rattliff, Jr., Lamont Wiltz, and Collin Robertson. Honorary pallbearers will be Felix Robertson, Terry P.
