VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m, on Friday, February 6, 2009, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Hilda Kately Smith, 56, who passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009 at her residence in St. Martinville. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery in St. Martinville. Rev. Justin Arockiasamy, Pastor of Notre Dame Church, will conduct the services. Hilda was a very cheerful person and loved to dance. She was the co-owner of PB Dee's Club Valentine in Parks, Hwy 347, with the love of her life "Peep". Hilda will be greatly missed by her daughter, granddaughter, sister Dorothy, family and friends. Survivors include her life companion of 16 years, Wilbert Ledet, Jr.; her daughter, Catrice Smith, both of St. Martinville; her sister, Dorothy Sylvester and her husband, Richard Sylvester, Sr. of Washington, DC; and one grandchild, Ariana Lowe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Mary Ann Wiltz Kately. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2009. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
