Howard A McCoy

New Iberia -A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 19, 2014, at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church in New Iberia, for Howard Anthony McCoy, 53, who passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in New Iberia. Rev. Mario Romero will be the Celebrant. Entombment will be at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM Thursday. Visitation will continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until 9:15 AM. Howard was born on April 21, 1961, and was employed with Quail Tools for over 30 years. He enjoyed going to the camp, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Anita Duplantis McCoy of New Iberia; children, Dustin McCoy of Lafayette, LA, Patrick McCoy and wife Lori of Silsbee, Texas, Lanie Kipp and husband Austin of New Iberia, LA; grandson, Collin Kipp of New Iberia, LA; parents, Docksy and Celicia Viola McCoy of New Iberia; brother, Luke McCoy and wife Tammy of Lafayette, LA; sister, Kayla Pere and husband Mitch of New Iberia, LA;. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Docksy and Rae McCoy, Sr., and Joseph and Lessie Viola. Pallbearers will be Luke McCoy, Mark McCoy, Paul Duplantis, David Musumeche, Keith White, and Wayne White.
