New Iberia - A Rosary will be prayed at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Hunter Davis Segura, 17, who passed away, with his cousin and best friend Ethan Neisser, as a result of a car accident on Thursday, March 15, 2018, in New Iberia. Interment will be at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. Hunter was born on May 31, 2000 and was a sophomore at New Iberia Senior High. He enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Casey Turner of New Iberia, and her husband Dennis; father, Ronlee Segura of New Iberia; sisters, Sadie Segura of New Iberia, Ashton Segura of New Iberia, Lexi Segura of New Iberia, Reagan Segura of New Iberia; grandparents, Lynndale Sonnier of New Iberia, Perry Dore of New Iberia, Mark Sonnier of New Iberia, Dennis Segura of New Iberia, Raymond Moreaux of New Iberia, Mary Turner of New Iberia; fiance, Samantha Balbuena of New Iberia; stepbrothers, Austin Turner of New Iberia, Gavin Turner of New Iberia, Jace Turner of New Iberia; godfather, Mark Bourque of Marksville; godmother, Tracy Segura of New Iberia; special aunt, Celina Gaspard of New Iberia; special uncle, Brandon Gaspard of New Iberia; several cousins, including Mason Smith and Natalie Smith; great grandfather, Perry LeBlanc of New Iberia; best friend, Jermaine Bob of New Iberia; aunt, Amber Smith and husband Carlos; and uncle, Dillon Sonnier.
