Hurvan Antoine Solari

Parks- Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 31, 2009, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks, for Hurvan Antoine Solari, 74, who passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mr. Solari honorably served his country in the United States Army and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Parks. He enjoyed woodworking, collecting native Louisiana plants for their pond, and traveling all over Louisiana. Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Lucille Lasseigne Solari, of Parks; one son, Troy Lasseigne, and a daughter, Dawn Ann Solari, both of Parks. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Syloid Castille Solari; a brother, Mickey Solari; and a sister, Nell Rose Thomas. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. on Saturday. Pallbearers will be Donald Bergeron, ;Andrew Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Troy Lasseigne, Gerald Lasseigne and Dawn Solari. ; Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
