Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm, on Friday, June 8, 2012, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Innocent Guidry Huval, 87, who passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:30 pm until 10:00 pm on Thursday and continue at 8:00 am until 1:30 pm on Friday at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Thursday. Rev. Donald Pousson will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Reading the scriptures will be Ashley Daigle and Jeane Huval. Gift bearers will be her great-granddaughters, Ashley and Aime Daigle and Jeane Huval. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Huval was the co-owner of Huval Seafood Market in Breaux Bridge for 28 years. She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Bernard Catholic Church and when she was unable to attend Mass, she enjoyed watching her Mass on EWTN and prayed her rosary every chance she got. She enjoyed being outdoors while working in her flower beds and loved visiting and talking to family and friends on the telephone. She is survived by her son, Russell J. (Flo) Huval of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Marie G. LeBlanc and Fabiola G. Huval, both of Breaux Bridge; two grandchildren, Monica H. (Randy) Daigle and Kevin P. (Jennifer) Huval; and three great-granddaughters, Ashley M. Daigle, Aime M. Daigle, and Jeane N. Huval, all of Breaux Bridge. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Joseph Huval; her parents, Paul and Azelie Theriot Guidry; six brothers, Ovey, David, Maurice Lucere, Philozie, Lucien and Simeon Guidry; and two sisters, Felonise G. Boyer and Enola G. LeBlanc. Pallbearers will be Kevin P. Huval, Randy Daigle, Ean Castille, Derrick Brasseaux, Mike Guidry, and Roland Guidry. Honorary pallbearers will be Preston LeBlanc, Tom Guidry, Harry Guidry, Jerry Boyer, and Ricky LeBlanc.
