Irene Wyatt Guidry

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 10, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Irene Wyatt Guidry, 75, who died Saturday, July 8, 2006 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Mrs. Guidry was employed with Heymann's for twenty years then later worked for Dollar General and Bill's Dollar Stores. She was a member of the St. Bernard Church Altar Society and played bingo with St. Bernard Catholic School and St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She loved gardening and working in her flower beds, and dearly loved her cat, Menuzee. Survivors include her husband, Jerry John Guidry of Breaux Bridge; her daughter, Jackie G. Burdin, and her husband, Wade of Breaux Bridge; and her brother, Ulysses Wyatt of Cecilia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy and Armide Johnson Wyatt; her sister, Grace Wiltz; and her brother, Louis Wyatt, Sr. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday evening. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
