Ed Degeyter will officiate. ; Born on January 31, 1918 in Franklin, Mrs. Derise was a longtime resident of New Iberia. She loved animals, especially her dog "Sammy". ; Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Derise Richard of New Iberia; son, Robert "Bobby" Derise of New Iberia; sister, Blanche Aucoin of Corpus Christi; grandchildren, Gilman C. Richard, Jr. and wife Lisa of Houston, Dean A. Richard of New Iberia, Katherine R. Friend and husband Brian of New Iberia, Shannon Facemire and husband Dwayne of Houston, Holly Grubb and husband Charles of Lafayette, Robert Richard and wife Phyllis of New Iberia, Christopher Derise and wife Amy of New Iberia, Jonathan Derise of New Iberia, Desire' Derise of New Iberia; great grandchildren, Ben Richard and wife Jessica, Grant Richard, Matthew Richard, Marcus Richard, Casey Friend, Taylor Friend, Nickolas Facemire, Katie Facemire, Kaylee Grubb, Avery Grubb, Leon Roy IV, Thomas Derise, Emma Derise, Cullen Derise, Brycen Derise; great great grandchildren, Jordan Richard, Maddox Richard; daughter-in-law, Annette Derise of New Iberia. ; She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Robert "R.D." Derise; parents, James and Blanche Guillot LeBlanc; son-in-law, Gilman C. Richard, Sr.; sisters, Ina Robin, Pearl Taquino, Jessie Fernandez. ; Pallbearers include Robert "Bobby" Derise, Chris Derise, Jonathan Derise, Gilman Richard, Jr., Dean Richard, Robert Richard, and Matthew Richard. ; Honorary Pallbearers will be Mrs. Derise's nephews.
