New Iberia - Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia, for Sister Irma Gardner Fusilier, 91 who died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 in New Iberia. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. ; Elder Jerrell Slaughter will officiate. Born on June 28, 1921, Sister Fusilier was a resident of New Iberia where she served as a faithful witness of Jehovah for over three decades of her life. Deeply loved and missed by her loyal family and friends. Survivors include her daughters, Jessie Guillory Fusilier, Olivia Doucette, Clara Fusilier Koepp all of New Iberia, Linda Fusilier Robinson and husband Dennis of Boston, MA, Marjorie Thornton and husband James of Houston, TX; son, Robert Fusilier of New Iberia; sisters, Melvola Harrison, Verna Mae Gardner, and Leanna Syrie all of New Iberia; 21 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Junius Fusilier; a daughter, Shirley Harris; sisters and brothers, Martha Victor, Theresa Fontenette, Efrien Gardner, Davis Gardner, Louise Guidry, Elouis Fusilier, Gertrude Moore, Junius Gardner, Jr., Bertha Williams, and Levola Kately.
