St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for Isabella "Belle" Guidry, 55, who passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Residence.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm on Friday and continue on Saturday at 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Coteau Holmes.
Belle was born in Loreauville, Louisiana to the late Leopold and Euline Rita Dugas Guidry. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. Her greatest passion in life was singing and performing. Belle enjoyed welding, and woodworking, but most of all being a caregiver to others. She loved spending time with her family, friends, and her puppies. Belle will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Leo Patrick Guidry, Daniel John Girouard, and David Michael Girouard; brothers, Newbon Guidry, Alvin "Blackie'' Guidry and wife Debbie, and Dean Guidry; sisters, Zoe Guidry and Lena Guidry Bourg and husband, Leo; grandchild, Daniel Nolan Girouard; companion, Louie Bernard; and her beloved dogs, Litto, Zena, Dewy, Jack, Joey, Obie, and Harry.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leopold Guidry; mother, Euline Rita Dugas Guidry; grandparents, Zoe B. and Fernest Dugas; sister, Carol Jean Guidry Vasseur; grandchildren, Miracle Girouard, and Felecia and Ashley Guidry; nephews, Jaxon Porterfield and Richard "Crash" Pellerin, Jr.; and sister-in-law, Linda Guidry.
Pallbearers will be Daniel John Girouard, David Michael Girouard, Billy Porterfield, Micah Porterfield, Michael Reed, and Alvin Guidry Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leo Patrick Guidry, Newbon Guidry, Alvin "Blackie'' Guidry, Dean Guidry, Louie Bernard, and Leo Bourg.
