Ivan J. Broussard

Breaux Bridge- Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Ivan J. ""Tosh"" Broussard, 84, who died Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Entombment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 - Mausoleum in Breaux Bridge. Survivors include his brothers, William ""Tom"" Broussard and Howard ""Pete"" Broussard, both of Cecilia; and his sisters, May B. LeBlanc of Parks, Ivy Lou Richard and Lou Ella ""Poulette"" Boudoin, both of Port Arthur, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie J. and Martha Guidry Broussard; his brothers, Andrew P. Broussard, Irving J. Broussard, Percy Broussard, and Larkin Broussard; and his sisters, Alice B. Frederick and Beulah B. Deshotel. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 7:00 a.m. on Friday and continue until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m. Friday. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Our Lady of the Oaks in Lafayette for care provided to Mr. Broussard. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
