Jacinta "Cindy" Hayes

Breaux Bridge - A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 11, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Jacinta "Cindy" Hayes, 62, who passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022, at Iberia Medical Center.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday and continue on Tuesday at 8:00 am until 11:00 am.

A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday.

Jacinta, known to many as Cindy, was born May 29, 1959. She enjoyed playing Bingo, Pokeno, Dominos and taking trips to the casino. Cindy loved to spend time with her family and friends and will be deeply missed by them.

She is survived by her significant other, Tammy Bernis; son, Lina "Jimmy" James Knott; grandchild, Gavin  Knott; her "Tooka", Kayden Lane David; and her siblings, Sylvia "Sudie" Flake (Wayne), Cathy Courville; Dean Hayes (Cassie), Jerry Hayes (Amanda) and Nicky David (Daniel).

She was preceded in death by her parents, John "Payan" Thompson Hayes, Jr. and Mary "Jane" Guidry Hayes; nephew, Mark Joseph Mouton; and brother in-law, Dickey Courville.
