Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge in Breaux Bridge for Jackline "Jackie" Guidry Ortiz, 59, who passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:30 am until time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 11:00 am on Sunday. Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Jackie was a great wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, riding around, and she especially loved her dog and lizards. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Luis Ortiz; son, Jedidiah Guidry; daughters, Jenaye Guidry Kimbrough and husband Brandon, Jeann Guidry, and Ali Ortiz; brother, Darrell Guidry and wife Karyn; sisters, Barbara LeBlanc and husband Milton, Rusty Taylor and husband Joe, Audrey Romero and husband Joe, Lilly Sonnier and husband Loyton, and Betty Mouton; and grandchildren, Christopher Guidry, Landon Guidry, Silas Guidry, Brynli Guidry, Luke Guidry, and Ivan Guidry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hector and Jeanne Dejean Guidry; sisters, Shirley McBride and Patricia Folks; and one brother-in-law, Donald Mouton.
