New Iberia - Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, December 6, 2007, at Holy Family Cemetery, 2807 Curtis Lane, New Iberia, LA, for Jacob Markus Wade, 4 months, who passed away on Monday, December 3, 2007 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
His uncle, Pastor Joe Palermo, and Pastor Rob Burdeaux, will conduct the service.
Jacob was a happy baby who had eyes that sparkled and a great big smile, which displayed his two beautiful teeth, for anyone who happened to be in the room. He would laugh these great-big, from-the-belly laughs and would have a huge grin on his face as he'd watch his big brothers, whom he loved and adored very much. ?His favorite toy was his stuffed frog, and the dirtier it was, the better he liked it. ?His favorite time of day was, of course, dinner time and one of his hobbies was to grab his toes. ?Jacob's favorite place to be was one-of-four places, and that was either on his Mom's, Dad's, Maw-Maw's, or Paw-Paw's lap. ?He will be deeply missed by his family.
Jacob is survived by his parents, Tommy Wade, Jr. and Amber L. Palermo, both of St. Martinville; three brothers, Joseph Stephen Palermo, Joshua Milton Wade, both of St. Martinville, and Tyler Mackenzie Wade, of Broussard; one sister, Jordan Alexandra Wade, of Broussard; his maternal grandparents, Candisa and Stephen Palermo, of Plaquemine; his paternal grandmother, Sandra Wade, of Baton Rouge; and his paternal grandfather, Tommy Wade, Sr., of Sedan, Kansas.
Pellerin Funeral Home, 337.332.2111, is in charge of arrangements.
