Jacqueline Fremin Pisani

New Iberia - Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Jacqueline Fremin Pisani, 74, who passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia. Rev. Keith Landry will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Thursday, with Recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. A lifelong resident of New Iberia, Jacqueline Fremin Pisani was born on January 6, 1943. She was a 1960 graduate of New Iberia Senior High School, and worked at The Daily Iberian as a receptionist. Jackie was a member of a Pokeno Club, and looked forward to monthly gatherings with her classmates, where they would go out to eat or play cards. Time spent with family and friends was what she cherished most. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, James L. Pisani, Jr.; father, Roy Fremin of Lafayette; sons, James "Marty" Pisani and wife Sondra of New Iberia, Roger Pisani and wife Rachel of New Iberia, Tony Pisani and husband Robert White of Maysville, GA, and Kent Pisani of New Iberia; sisters, Mary Morein and husband Bernard of Lafayette, Bonnie Fremin of Coteau; brother, Donald "Blue" Fremin and husband Willis Menard of Parks; grandchildren, Matthew Pisani, Garrett Pisani, Nicole Pisani, Marcus Picard and wife Kendalyn, Lexi Hebert, Lani Hebert, Laci Fava and husband Jacob, Sonya Breaux, Dale Jones, II, Wayne M. Viator, and Blake J. Viator; numerous great-grandchildren; and her beloved pets, Rocco and Poopsie. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Martin Fremin; and a brother, Roy Boze Fremin, Jr. Pallbearers will be Khalil Afaneh, Kaiden Fowler, Matthew Pisani, Brad Pisani, Chuck Pisani, Nick Pisani, Nick Flook, and Toby Pisani. Honorary pallbearers include all members of the Pisani and Fremin families. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridgeway Hospice, who took excellent care of Jackie, 2014 W.
